Crossroads

Crossroads are symbolic of that place between the worlds. They rule both directions and sacred space. Their rulership is both Mercury and Solar and crossroads are very significant to everything connected to prayer and divination. As a spiritual practitioner, prayer should be interactive. Here is an example: You could pray for money and love, and at the same time, have health conditions. What is going to happen is that the divination will start emphasizing health as a priority since without health, you cannot really achieve love or money. In this way, energy is directed towards what is most relevant and then starts fanning out towards other subjects.

There are so many ideas connected to crossroads. Crossroads become central to certain spiritual thinking. It would actually take a large book to cover all the ideas connected with crossroads.

Traditional Conjuring

Old time New Orleans hoodoo practioners were essentially prayer warriors. They could move with the spirit and pray with the spirit, with an incredible intensity.
They would use focusing tools, candles, oils, and herbs. They were often called root doctors.
Their source of power was the spirit and many of the spirits they would work with.
By recognizing these workers and learning from their procedures, this keeps a powerful tradition alive. Today, people share the procedures and rituals but they have sometimes lost sight of the key element which makes conjuring work and that is to be praying in the spirit and moving with the power.
